WE ARE ODIUM

HEAVY METAL. THRASH ATTITUDE. NO COMPROMISE.

Since 1993, ODIUM have been delivering a powerful blend of heavy metal, thrash-driven riffs, aggressive vocals, and memorable melodic hooks. Hailing from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the band has forged its own distinctive sound over more than three decades of uncompromising metal.

With 12 releases under their belt, ODIUM have continuously evolved, pushing their musical boundaries while staying true to their roots. Inspired by legends such as Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, and Iron Maiden, the band has developed an unmistakable identity that combines raw aggression with melody, intensity, and emotion.

BORN FOR THE STAGE

ODIUM are a force to be reckoned with on stage. With more than 500 live performances, the band has earned a reputation for explosive shows, relentless energy, and an uncompromising connection with their audience.

Whether playing intimate clubs or major festival stages, ODIUM deliver the same passion, power, and dedication. Their steadily growing fan base is proof that authentic heavy metal knows no boundaries.

Over the years, ODIUM have shared the stage with legendary acts including Testament, Exodus, Destruction, Obituary, Tankard, Nightwish, Rage, Holy Moses, Paul Di'Anno, Axxis, Dead Soul Tribe, and many more.

Every show is a statement. Every riff is a commitment.

BEYOND THE MUSIC

ODIUM's lyrics explore the darker sides of human nature, confronting themes of hatred, violence, death, manipulation, and the contradictions of modern society.

Rather than offering simple answers, the band challenges listeners to question, reflect, and discover their own interpretations beneath the surface.

Dark, thought-provoking, and sometimes uncomfortable – ODIUM's music has never been about playing it safe.

THE SOUND OF ODIUM

To achieve their powerful and internationally competitive sound, ODIUM have collaborated with renowned producers including Martin Buchwalter, Andy Classen, and Marc Bugnard.

Their dedication to quality, authenticity, and musical evolution has earned recognition throughout the metal community.

Germany's METAL HAMMER once described ODIUM as:

"One of the best bands in the German underground."

A statement that continues to motivate the band to push forward, louder and stronger than ever.

A NEW CHAPTER

ODIUM are entering an exciting new era.

With Thorsten Baus joining as a permanent member on bass, the band has strengthened its foundation and is moving forward with renewed determination.

On guitar, Andreas Ballnus (Philosophobia) currently supports ODIUM exclusively for live performances, bringing his experience and musicianship to the stage while the band continues its search for a suitable permanent guitarist.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, ODIUM are putting the finishing touches on their upcoming album, THE TRUTH WITHIN.

A new chapter is taking shape. New music, fresh energy, and the same uncompromising spirit that has defined ODIUM since day one.
